SAI LAKSHMANAN
Hi sir,
this is lakshman of mech 2A today we have PTP i attended your class
i have small doubts sir
1) which is more important in placements knowledge or percentage?
2)being a mechanical student is it necessary to learn c language ?
as you said that CSE is necessary in vehicle designing
3)is there any chance in getting to the service field (like police, defence after b.tech )
4)is there any chance doing m.tech combining with MBA(as i have interest doing m.tech in automobile engg.)
am just mailing this because i don't know how to make a block in fb
regarding feedback :
i have heard that u will slap even an MBA student if it is true you please stop/reduce it
[please correct it if there are any mistakes]

to get screened in u need percentage .. to get selected knowledge.
all engineers have to have programing skills.
there are many options in defence after BTech.. Police not technical .. unless a few on specific skills are getting into.
MBA / MTech are two different streams .... Better to get into Mtech.. MBA can be done any time.
My dealing with my closest students are many times beating and patting them.. that shouldnt be a matter of feedback from you.
I will come to you to take advice.. on this.. when i require..
YOU ARE FREE TO MEET ME.
hello sir,
I was again
refreshed by your session tody.
Respected sir,
I ARPIT SHUKLA SECOND YEAR MECHANICAL-B ROLL NO-11621A0364
Sir in yesterdays session we learnt a lot which are as following:-
(1) Note making is very important in life because no student can
become a good learner if he is not capable of making notes because
after sometime we cannot depict the same as it was been thought to u.
(2) Enthusiasm is very essential in whatever we do.
(3) A student should show keen interest in whatever profession he goes.
(4) Today most of the engineering colleges have only 20% of the pass percentage.
(5) Only 0.04% of students opt. for M.TECH courses.
(6) Good student can become good teacher's.
(7) It depends upon us that do we want our name to get remembered for
only a while or do we want the people to remember us throughout the
entire life so sir told us to look at the most prestigious job in the
country the UPSC UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION. Which offers
different services like IAS INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE,IPS INDIAN
POLICE SERVICE,IFS INDIAN FOREST SERVICE and many other GROUP-A and
GROUP-B services.
(8) Those who have the aim to get into civil service sir gave an
advice to learn newspaper daily which makes us our of current affairs
because today's current affair will only turn into tomorrow's history.
(9) Each and every subject which we learn is very important as the
subjects ar linked up to each other.
(10) For mechanical engineering Germany is said to be the paradise in
fact every mechanical engineer every engineer should have a dream to
go to Germany. But every Indian student who goes to foreign country
should come back and it should use his knowledge in developing his own
country rather than serving another country and developing them today
most of the student do that only for just a sake of few dollars or
else euro.
(11) To go to any country we need to know it's culture language and
history but before that we should have a good knowledge of our culture
and history.
(12) Most of the company's look for the people who had good
communication skill and should be capable to deal with any situation
which he faces.
(13) For civil engineering student the dream country should be Netherland.
(14) Mathematics is the subject which every student should have firm grip on it.
(15) English is very much important for developing communication skill.
SIR MY REQUEST THE NEXT MONDAY WHEN WE MEET WE SHOULD DISCUSS ABOUT
OUR CULTURE AND HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY SIR BECAUSE IT IS WASTE IF A
STUDENT HAS THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRESENT WITHOUT KNOWING THE PAST
HISTORY SO SIR CAN U PLEAS CONDUCT SOME SESSION WHICH HELPS THE YOUTH
TO KNOW HIS CULTURE AS TODAY'S YOUNG GUNS ARE GETTING RUSTED AND HAVE
FORGOT HIS THEIR OWN CULTURE.
THANK YOU SIR FOR CONDUCTING SUCH SESSION WE WILL ALWAYS BE THANFULL.

Respected sir,
My name is Pavankumar .I wants to share some of the
interesting points that attracted me in today’s class.
- · Punctuality is the first quality that an Engineer should have.
- · An Engineer should also be aware with the current affairs and the general knowledge.
- · We should show more enthusiasm towards anything not only pertaining to studies.
- · News paper reading is the best way to improve communication skills.
- · An Engineer should not have the opinion to join in the field pertaining to their subject; he should also try for I.A.S, I.C.S, and I.R.S etc to become a respectable citizen in the society.
- · Taking the notes in the class without any feedback improves the quality of an Engineer.
- · We also discussed about, how interviews will takes place in some big companies like Infosys etc.
- · We also discussed about a person who was interested in space and his approach to get into the university in GERMANY, which offered him in his favorite subject.
- · We also learnt that “A good student will become a good teacher”.
- · We also discussed that from our college about 60% of our seniors are passed out in this year.
- · We also discussed about a person with the name sai varun who got PhD in Bangalore directly after his B.tech course.
- · We also discussed how the big companies will approach the colleges without the help of any mediators or brokers.
- · We came to know that about 16 students from our college went to do their M.tech and it’s a good ratio when compared with the others.
- · Text book reading is very essential for every engineer.
- · We also discussed how to get into universities in Germany for mechanical Engineers after completion of B.tech.
- · Finally I would like to conclude that in today’s class we learnt some interesting and useful topics which will mould us to become a perfect Engineer.
Thanking You,
Yours sincerely,

hello sir,
Last year when we were told that sessions
like today's will be included in our schedule,we thought it won't be
happening; but now we are happy that it is actually into practice.
I regret
I wasted my first year and need your guidance in future.
We are glad to
be your students and hope this programme will be continued till we
complete our degree course and benefited by your lectures....:
Thank you,

Good evening sir,
These are the some of the points that i learned in today's session :-
1.
I learned about the working of a camera and regarding the camera i
learned about imaging plane and the distance from the lense to image-plane is
focus.
2. Applications of "MATRICES" in cameras i.e in the storage of the images.
3. 1 bit =2power0
4. In one pixel we can store 256 numbers, when it is 8 bit storage - called gray values.
5.
When we take a photo in the room then gray-values will be close to black and
when we take the photo outside the room then it will close to white.
6.CONTRAST means to "STRECH" of gray value.
7.IMAGE PROCESSING means making an unclear image clear.
8. There are 2 types of earths, physical and real. And a WORLD too. They are all different.
9. Satellite that takes the photo of the earth is "REMOTE SENSING SATELLITE",(IRS).
10.NATIONAL REMOTE SENSING CENTER (NRSC) receives all the data and the photos taken from that satellite.
11. INDIRA POINT is the South tip of INDIA.
12. LENGTH OF INDIA (South - North) is approximately = 3900
BREADTH OF INDIA (East-West) is approximately= 3200-3400.
13. HYDERABAD is considered as the center of our country so the satellite data Downloading facility is located in hyderabad near Shad Nagar.
14. Satellite will be able to see any feature on earth (ground) around 6 meters ( this is called resolution).
15. Satellite is at a height of 600-800 kms from the ground.
16.Space shuttles will be at an altitude of 200 kms.
17.Satellites takes around 14 revolutions in one day.
18. Nokia is the company which manufactures more number of cameras.
19.Afganisthan is rich in opium production.
20.SARASWATI is the river which is underground ( Rajasthan and Gujarat).
21.It takes to 0.28 sec to open and close an eye lit.
22. With the help of KRILEAN PHOTOGRAPHY we can see aura and predict health and mental-state of a person.
I am very happy to learn very useful information from u sir.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely

screens are 8-bit where 1bit=2 to the power of 0.
v
We also came to know that national Remote
sensing centre is in balanagar, Hyderabad.
v
We also learnt about gyro system(roll, pitch and
yak)
v
We came to know that space shuttles move around
the earth at a distance of 200kms from the surface of the earth.
